Rudy Ham-Zhu is a quadrilingual scientist and engineer expert in fermentation and cell culture applied in the context of food, enzymes, cell therapy and vaccines.

He has worked or consulted for the most innovative companies in the world such as Beyond Meat, AstraZeneca, DuPont, BASF, Atara Biotherapeutics and NantKwest.
​
Rudy is passionate about biotechnology and its potential to transform people and nations. He has given talks at TEDx, helped create a MOOC in Spanish, and participated as judge in iGEM.
​
He holds a B.S. degree in biochemical engineering from UC Davis, an M.S. in Biotechnology from Johns Hopkins University and an M.B.A. from Quantic.
